what they're saying

“Beth as been amazing with my girls. She doesn't just have a cookie-cutter approach to music. She really listens to the students, what their talents and dreams are and then helps them, because she's a true music mentor. I love that she has a recording studio and the students get that opportunity to record themselves, getting the feedback on what their voice really sounds like. It's been such a wonderful experience! ”

“Beth is an outstanding vocal and guitar coach. My daughter just turned 12 and has been her student for 3 years. When she started, she had never played a guitar and could sing, but had never worked with a coach. She is 12 now and has been a regular at our local Open Mic for over 2 years! She performs confidently and with ease. I've watched her progress and improve with every lesson. Beth is super flexible and will really adapt to the student's needs or interests. It is a true collaboration between artists. I have witnessed this first hand. She is always positive and encouraging while coaching effectively. She coaches students of all ages and also does remote lessons. I highly recommend Beth as a vocal and guitar coach for anyone.” Marcela Abuid Check out Carmens YouTube channel by clicking the video below!

"I have realized some absolutely amazing results in my singing since recently being introduced to Beth Williams. I first discovered her Utube site. I trusted her suggestions and followed the method that she prescribed only to find that her method produced amazing improvements in the quality of my voice. Her tips on breathing made a huge difference in the overall delivery of my singing. In fact, I was so surprised that I felt compelled to reach out to Beth in order to learn more about the private lessons available directly from her, ONE ON ONE, right in my own home. I’m now working with Beth weekly and continue to see consistent improvement as a result of her unique efforts. I am convinced that I have found THE best voice coach in the universe. Check her out!" VOCAL STUDENTS:
For older students taking a 1-hour lesson, Beth uses the first part of class to teach breathing technique and do vocal warm-ups. The 2nd half of class is spent putting things into action by singing and recording in her studio. Students receive a copy of the recorded songs each week so they can listen and see what needs to be changed or improved upon. It's also a great way for students to see how their voices are improving by comparing early recordings with later recordings. Her method: Beth teaches passive breathing techniques that help students sing without tightening or constricting the throat. She uses a turkey baster to demonstrate how air can naturally “fall” in, keeping the throat and upper body relaxed. She also teaches students how to use their feet, legs, and lower body to gain greater vocal control and power.
GUITAR LESSONS
At their very first lesson, students will learn to play a song! Each week thereafter, Beth gives them new chords and a new song to practice for the following week. She is also able to record the lesson for those who would like to have a recording to practice with. For those wanting to sing, Beth will also put the songs in the correct key so the student can sing along while they practice.
LIVE PERFORMANCE
For those interested in live performance, Beth teaches students how to sing into and use a microphone correctly, and gives other "Singers Tips" to help them as performers.
Beth can share what she knows from years of experience about working with and playing to the audience which builds up an artists confidence in their stage presence. All of these things help the student reach their full potential as a singer and performing artist.
Beth is also available to give lessons on how to set up and tear down a sound system.

“Our choir and worship team was privileged to have Beth come out and work with us for a two-hour vocal training class. Everyone loved her! She is very skilled, has a wonderful personality, very pleasant to work with and really challenged each and every one of us. The skills she taught us were simply invaluable. Our choir and worship team was truly blessed by everything she shared and taught and are looking forward to next time!
